Unka Bobby is also a life-long liver of these lifestyles, having overseen several Virtual Communities, and a physical group of couples, formed to explore the depths of meaning, emotion, and adoration possible in long-term, committed relationships based on some form of D/s. I've a background in computer sciences, but a passion for the Behavioral Arts.  In the past, I shepherded the SubMiss, Guardian Island and Punishment Corner communities.

In the Fall of 2004, in a combination marriage and legal adoption ceremony atop a windblown sea-cliff, I partnered up with Carolyn for GI, our Backside of Love project -- in every possible sense of the word!

Carolyn Faulkner is one of best-known professional authors of romantic spanking (and occasionally edgier) fiction. Her stories enthralled online communities like the infamous "soc.society.spanking", where her postings attracted professional publishers, and kicked off a storied career as a full-time professional writer of our favorite topics.

Quickly, the commercial publishing companies learned to buy her work sight-unseen, but the limitations which were often put on her efforts, led her to think about a way to publish her own works, freeing her to express all of the grand spectrum of Backside of Love themes.

Shortly after being adopted and married by Unka Bobby, they embarked on building a world on the Backside of Guardian Island, as a sister-community to GI proper, where they could express and share all of the intense, recurring threads which link Domestic Discipline, Adoring D/s, and Intimate Ageplay, focusing on the reality of living these Headspaces in healthy relationships... and which run through their daily lives together.

M. Alexa has been a writer, and full-time lifestyler in various flavors of D/s for many years. Her fiction (some under pseudonyms) has appeared in both online communities and online magazines for several years. She's a proficient Disciplinarian, bringing a feminine touch and sensibilities to those duties, and favoring neither gender over the other as a charge.

Jennifer K. is an old friend from this lifestyle as well. Years ago she was a member of our SubMiss community, and was inspired by the fiction we shared in that group to start a website of her own. "Jennifer's Punishment Corner" was online for about five years, and I worked with her off and on with some techie help and writing and graphics. It was a very busy place for awhile there, so some of you may remember her. In fact, I happened to've written her motto, "The Art and Soul of Adoring Discipline", which I'm stealing back since she's no longer in the webmistress business. :)

She writes very well from the female bottom perspective, although has to be prodded through her shyness into doing so, and I've pressed her into service here for some brainstorming and to lend a young-lady perspective to help with the (as yet unnamed) advice column.

Jennifer's "Punishment Corner" was a great enthusiast site for many of the Backside-type themes we're here to explore, early in the population boom of the Net (the URL of which was grabbed by some porn conglomerate while she was closed, so don't attribute their tripe to her if you go back to visit).

sami: My name is Samantha but my friends call me sami. I live at home with my daddy and two pets, a special box turtle named Oliver Imas and a gray striped kitty we call Tippy.

I have a little sister named maybaby, who I finally got to meet this summer. We had a great time together at the water park, the beach, and seeing all the animals at the zoo.

My daddy and I just celebrated our five year anniversary! To mark the occasion, I thought he was giving me a glass of wine but it turned out to be grape juice.

The island has been a good place for me to learn about life from my daddy and all the nice kids and adults I have met here. After so many years of thinking I was alone in my own world, I was relieved to discover how many people are just like me! Most of us 'got here' because of unfortunate circumstances in our big person's childhood but I am very grateful for the opportunity to have a second chance.

Groundskeeper Willie: My fine distant Scot relative, maintains the flawless grass pathways which connect all parts of the Island, and cheerfully mops up anything that accidentally squirts out of an Innerkid.

Chewbacca: Our Chief of Secureness is very cuddly, and doesn't talk much, but is on standby to pitch anyone who frightens or hurts an Innerkid back to the mainland, with a large wooden catapult (like the cow in Monty Python's Holy Grail).
